Why I Ride: Growing up in Houston, the MS 150 was always a thing on my list and my older brother said he was doing it in 2012 so that was the beginning for me. Little did I know I would still be doing the ride every year since then because I enjoy cycling, have made a bunch of friends along the way, and the MS Society is a great organization to support.

Why I Ride: I ride to help end MS. I love bikes, I love people, so it's a good way for me to do my part. I started riding the MS150 in 2010 and I was immediately hooked. I love riding my bike, but it's the people that keep me coming back. Team Tacodeli is the best team and best group of people you'll ever meet, but most important are the people living with MS who's lives we're able to impact.
Why I Ride: What started out 30ish years ago as I ride for fun and fitness has morphed over the years to hanging out with friends, giving back to the community through fundraising, growing, and helping new riders, and then the bonus is the fun and fitness.

Why I Ride: I ride for those that have MS and no longer can. I ride for the camaraderie of my fellow Tacodeli mates, and I ride for the fun of it.

Why I Ride: I ride the MS150 to honor and support my family members living with multiple sclerosis, channeling my passion for cycling into a cause close to my heart. Cycling also brings me joy, and these rides give me the chance to meet new people and build lasting friendships. And of course, sharing post-ride tacos makes it all even better!

Why I Ride: When I started riding a road bike in 2014, I was convinced by a coworker to join him on a Monday night group ride. I'll never forget the pain in my shoulders and lower back. After tucking tail and turning back half-way through the ride, I still had the determination to come back and finish it. It didn't stop there! I joined

I joined the team the following year, and it was then I realized what a great cause and community this is. The rest is history!

Why I Ride: 2026 marks my sixth year to be a part of the MS 150 and my fifth year with Team Tacodeli. I have enjoyed riding the MS 150 and love riding with Team Tacodeli. I cherish the friends I have made and the folks I have met through cycling. I ride because I believe we are making a difference and look forward to the day when we see the end of Multiple Sclerosis.

Why I Ride: I started riding the MS 150 in 2023 and was instantly hooked. While I love cycling, what truly keeps me coming back is the incredible people and camaraderie on Team Tacodeli. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know more individuals living with MS, and now I ride with a deeper purpose: to help find a cure.

Why I Ride:
My mother had MS when there were no effective therapies available to address its symptoms or slow its progression. She became wheelchair bound in her 50’s but forged ahead, organizing and presiding over MS Walks to support the MS mission. I also have MS, and wanted the carry on my mother’s legacy. Taking on the mileage of a 150 was a hurtle to clear, but in 2017 I created my own team, rode my first MS 150, and had a blast! Now, riding with the support, energy and camaraderie of Team Tacodeli has taken the good times and impact of the ride to a whole new level!.
Team Tacodeli Team Training Rides are organized in line with the MS Society’s safety policy. To participate, riders agree to dress appropriately as to mitigate risk of physical injury, including, but not limited to: wearing shoes appropriate for strenuous cycling; and dressing in conjunction with the weather.
